50 Grades of Shay dukin' it out with 50 Shades of Grey?
that's what seems to be goin' on with the latest (would be) blockbuster 50 Grades of Shay by B. J. LaRue. trying to knock 50 Shades of Grey off it's lofty success pedestal.
which shouldn't be too hard to do...considering that the 50 Grades Author has a truckload more talent than ms. 50 Shades!
Anyway - here's the inside scoop on this battle of the books from the most excellent Smokin' happs blog:

For those who haven't yet heard of 50 Grades of Shay, it's a , at present, three book BDSM Erotica Romance Series, by B.J. Larue. Until now, an under-the-radar Hollywood ghost writer.
But where this Romance Novella parts company with E.L. James' 50 Shades of Grey, is in the quality of the writing. Author B.J. LaRue is clearly no debutante. As the imaginative plot line, believeable characters and emotive descriptions of 50 Grades of Shay confirm:
